    19th State Forestry Championship – we were there!

    About a year ago, a group of our students founded a “competitive cutting” team and thus brought chainsaw sports to life at our school!

    On May 4th and 5th, 2022, our competition group was able to demonstrate 19th State Forestry Championships We are proud of our school team, consisting of Andreas Sprung, Lukas Mayr , Benedikt Stummer, Michael Ertl, Felix Reisinger and Leon Steinbauer, who lead our school with full commitment and team spirit together with Mr. Ing. Franz Luidold, who is preparing the team for this decision has, has represented. In four different disciplines - including fall notch with felling cut, precision cut, chain changes and combination cut - each of our young competitors collected plenty of points that are crucial for the ranking: The best twelve were able to get the last points in a fifth discipline - the betting ast win the final score.

    It is proud to mention that Benedikt Stummer achieved 12th place in the overall ranking and was therefore able to demonstrate his acquired skills in all five disciplines! Another highlight that should be announced is that the title “State Champion for Fall Notching and Felling Cut 2022” was won by Andreas Sprung. Our school team was also able to secure 4th place in the team ranking class.
