Functional climate protection in Carinthian agriculture

Raumberg-Gumpenstein has, for the first time, calculated the effect of all greenhouse gas emissions on the energy balance of the atmosphere for a region (the federal state of Carinthia). These results and additional life cycle assessments of food production in the state were summarized in the concept of functional climate protection. This provides decision-makers with a new, innovative tool for defining climate protection measures.
