This year's state decision was held in FAST Pichl on May 6, 2023. The best were determined in the disciplines of notch and felling cuts, chain changes, combination and precision cuts and target hoes, as well as in the clarification of forestry knowledge. For the four best in each class, the skill cutting, chopping and delimbing competitions were added.
Two Raumberg students qualified for the final of the best four in the schools class. Ultimately, Andreas Sprung achieved an excellent second place and Leon Steinbauer took third place.
Finally, our team with the tailors Andreas Sprung, Leon Steinbauer, Benedikt Stummer and Michael Ertl was able to win the school competition. This is – after the state championships in Tamsweg – the next success of our competitive tailors.
