Through practice, the economic, social and cultural value of the (rural) agricultural business and its environment should be learned. The practice is intended to promote a positive professional attitude.

5-year training
Students on the 5-year course complete the following practical periods:

• 4 weeks between 2nd and 3rd school year
• 14 weeks between 3rd and 4th school year
• 4 weeks between 4th and 5th school year 

3-year training
Students on the 3-year advanced course practice for 4 weeks between the 2nd and 3rd year.

General
Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Franz Hanus is the Raumberg School’s coordinator for external practice. The school has a practical business database that students can use to search for a business that matches their interests. All interns are protected by group liability insurance. Young & International program of the Austrian Rural Youth provides practical placements abroad and abroad.
