The 2016 curriculum is the basis for teaching in all years of the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein from the 2020/2021 school year. It was published as a regulation by the Ministry of Education in the Federal Law Gazette Part II Number 201 in 2016 and is based on the School Instruction Act (BGBl. 643/1994 in the current version) and the Federal Law on Agriculture and Forestry (BGBl. 175/1966 as amended).

The specialized parts of the regulation for agriculture, advanced courses for agriculture and environmental and resource management are presented in the numbered appendices to the master document.

The prescribed curriculum can be deviated from independently by the school community through resolutions of the school community committee. These resolutions contain the distribution of the annual weekly hours in all teaching subjects.
