Show area soil-water-plants

At a total of eight stations, important connections to the grassland culture are presented concisely and strikingly. In addition to demonstration experiments on the topics of nutrient deficiency, reseeding and biodiversity, visitors can also expect show gardens in which various arable crops and quality seed mixtures were grown. In the Soil-Water-Roots Showcase, those interested are introduced to the soil as a basis for life and all its diverse functions.

In the clear, self-contained subject areas, additional information can be obtained about the most important crops in the Alpine region and the effects of a changing climate. At the same time, visitors gain an insight into the research work of the Institute for Plant Production and Cultural Landscape.

The opening of the cultural show garden took place on June 22, 2022.
