HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein

The HBLFA Higher Federal Institute for Agricultural Education and Research) is located in the Enns Valley in Styria and was formed in 2005 from the merger of the formerly independent institutions BAL Gumpenstein and HBLA Raumberg. As the largest department of the BMLRT (Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Regions and Tourism) with around 300 employees, the HBLFA is the driving force for sustainable management in the agricultural, food, and environmental sectors of rural areas throughout Austria. In addition to research, practical agricultural training in the fields of agricultural management and environmental and resource management are among the cornerstones of the HBLFA.
