SlurryCollect - collection robot for manure removal in cattle stalls - opportunities and limits

The Lely Collector manure removal robot removes feces and urine from the floor surface of cattle stalls.

By collecting the excretions, it ensures clean movement areas. This cleanliness leads to a reduction in stable emissions. In addition, clean treads are rated positively in terms of claw health. Since the manure robot does not rely on classic manure axes or elevated cross passages, it revolutionizes the conversion and construction of cattle stables. It can also be used to clean run-off areas.

As part of the SlurryCollect use case, the practical suitability is assessed based on key parameters. In addition to evaluating the cleaning effect, performance and functionality in summer and winter operation, as well as reports from practitioners, the new manure removal robot is examined in detail. In a further study, the potential for reducing stable emissions will be assessed
