Innovation Farm and digitalization

Carnival Christian, DI

DI Christian Carnival

Animal husbandry, animal welfare and herd management

The Innovation Farm project deals with new technologies, trends and developments and makes them visible, tangible and, above all, usable for agriculture. At the Raumberg-Gumpenstein location, we work on various innovations for indoor farming and grassland management.

Knowledge transfer as the core task of the Innovation Farm

One of the key tasks of the Innovation Farm is education. Scientific findings, optimized production processes, but also practical tips in practice are passed on in seminars, training courses and practical events.

Farmers, students and trainees in agricultural education sectors benefit from the knowledge of the Innovation Farm and can therefore apply the knowledge imparted in practice. The participating educational institutions include, among others, the rural training institutes, the Wiener Neustadt University of Applied Sciences, the Upper Austria University of Applied Sciences, the Austrian Board of Trustees for Agricultural Technology and Rural Development, the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, the Mold educational workshop, the HBLFA Francisco Josephinum, the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein and individual agricultural institutions technical schools.
