Influence of the preservation method of meadow forage on nutrient losses, feed value, milk production and milk quality
- Head of the Sheep and Goat Department
- Planning of precise scientific experiments in the field of sheep and goats with significance and relevance for practice, consulting, agricultural policy, environment, economy and consumer requirements
- Study of international and national specialist literature
- Review of the resources available at the HBLFA for the planned experiments
- Review of cooperation opportunities to increase the informative value and efficiency
- Statistical evaluation and interpretation of the results obtained from the scientific exact experiments, taking into account international and national specialist literature and findings.
-Publication and dissemination of the findings through lectures, training courses, seminars, publications, planning and leading field trips, participation in scientific congresses and trade fairs, answering inquiries from practitioners, development of feeding recommendations (energy, nutrient and mineral supply), husbandry recommendations (barn housing, pasture management, fattening methods) and breeding recommendations (performance testing, selection traits) based on the experimental results
