The Almwirtschaft Österreich association, together with the AMA Marketing and the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein, pursues the goal of enabling additional revenue for high-quality alpine products through a broad-based marketing initiative. In order to achieve this in the long term, alpine products must be made recognizable as such. For this purpose, the quality and origin-assured brands “Von der Alm” and “Alm” and in the Vorarlberg version “Von der Alp” and “Alp” were created.
In a pilot project currently underway, various surveys and evaluations are being carried out in the area of alpine meat with the scientific support of the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein. These evaluations should subsequently form the basis for setting honest and transparent criteria for alpine meat.
Now the opinion of practitioners is sought! We are now asking all alpine farmers to help by taking a short time (approx. 3 - 5 minutes) and taking part in a survey.
