Added value through organic research and implementation
The year 2020 was - for well-known reasons - also very demanding for our work at the Bio-Institut. We are therefore very grateful that we were able to successfully continue our research projects and that many people - from agricultural practitioners to consumers - were reached through a wide range of implementation activities. Conferences, seminars and stable days were organized and the new media was used successfully. We played a leading role in more than 70 publications, gave over 50 lectures, led excursions, took on teaching assignments, developed new research projects and involved many students in our national and international projects on organic agriculture and biodiversity. We are very pleased that our specialist information on the homepage information platform at the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein is also being used intensively. Our expertise was and is particularly in demand in the resulting changes to the legal organic framework and in the CAP process. You can find a summary of all publications as well as research and implementation activities from the Bio-Institut in 2020 in this document. Detailed information about our research projects and the results can always be found at www.raumberg-gumpenstein.at .
Grateful for cooperation and support
We are grateful that we are able to work in partnership with many cooperation partners from research, consulting, teaching, business, associations and organic farmers. We would especially like to thank the Ministry of Agriculture, Tourism and Regions and the Direktion of the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein for their trust and support of our work!
