    AgriTrain meets FarmLife

    The idea for a short webinar for the purpose of exchanging experiences emerged from two didactic approaches for teaching in agricultural schools. On January 14th, 2021, in a cooperation between the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein, the University of Agricultural and Environmental Education and the FH Joanneum, the two educational concepts of FarmLife ( www.farmlife.at ) and AgriTrain ( www.agri-train.eu ) were presented to the participants Presented to teachers shortly. The previous experiences of teachers who have been active in FarmLife for a long time were also taken into account.

    The participants (from Lower Austria, Upper Austria, Ktn., Sbg. and Stmk.) first received an introduction to the AgriTrain project, an Erasmus+ project whose aim is vocational training for sustainable development (BBNE), and learned how Students can learn to understand the resilience of ecosystems using a stand-up man (explainity).
    This was followed by a condensed presentation of the FarmLife educational concept with a look at the online tool. At the latest, the clearly and appreciatively formulated implementation experiences of the FarmLife teachers present from HBLAorigin and LFS Bruck/Großglocknerstraße aroused the participants' interest in more detailed training on this topic as part of the Train the Trainer seminars in Raumberg-Gumpenstein. The latter are a prerequisite for agricultural schools to receive one of the extensive FarmLife educational boxes for interdisciplinary teaching with FarmLife.
