As part of this new project, the FarmLife Welfare Index system is to be used on a large number of cattle farms. Further conclusions are drawn from the results to categorize the scores achieved or to develop limit values. Based on larger data sets and experience with the survey, adjustments to the scoring or survey parameters in the tool are also possible. Another goal is to adapt the previous system for dairy farming with regard to the areas of use for rearing cattle, fattening cattle and calves and the technical implementation of the tool for these areas of use in the farm management tool FarmLife.
