Europe Days program
The Europe Days 2024 offered a varied program that included informative lectures as well as practical discussions and interactive workshops. This year the focus was on the future of agriculture, the energy transition and the role of artificial intelligence, as well as the question of how Europe can remain stronger and sustainable in the coming decades.
In addition to renowned experts from business and politics, the participants were also able to gain practical insights. For example, practitioners such as Michael Windberger reported on market gardening and vegetable growing in Schladming and Christina Bauer spoke about “green cuisine” and baking with natural ingredients.

Insieme groups
A central element of the Europe Days 2024 was the Insieme groups. These offered participants the opportunity to talk directly to experts and speakers and to ask their questions about current topics. The topics worked on were then presented to the other groups in the Grimming Hall.
Participation by the HBLFA students
A particular highlight was the participation in the program by around 100 students from the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein. In two workshops, they developed ideas and topics that were directly integrated into the event - a sign of the young generation's commitment to the discussion about the future of Europe. A delegation also visited Brussels in advance. Here are the impressions of this trip:
Final lecture: “Austria and Europe – On to the next 30 years”
At the end of the Europe Days, former Vice Chancellor Dr. Josef Riegler gave a lecture in which he presented his visions for the next 30 years of Austria and Europe. This thought-provoking lecture gave the participants valuable inspiration for the future.
