Both climate change and the increasing demand for animal-based foods represent significant challenges for society and agriculture . , food and feed production is also an important “ greenhouse gas factor ” on a global level and, due to the growing land requirement for feed preparation, also contributes to “ Loss of ecologically valuable areas . Therefore, innovations to reduce emissions, increase efficiency in the food supply and reduce the use of valuable land for animal feeding are of central importance.

Project insights and results Farm4More

In the European LIFE project “farm4more” (Future Agricultural Management for multiple outputs on climate and rural development; running from July 2019 to December 2024), these challenges are addressed in a cross- border collaboration
