Both climate change and the increasing demand for animal-based foods pose significant challenges for society and agriculture . Globally, food and feed production to greenhouse gas emissions and, due to the growing land requirements for feed production, contributes to the loss of ecologically valuable land . Therefore, innovations aimed at reducing emissions, increasing efficiency in food supply, and decreasing the use of valuable land for animal feed are of paramount importance.

Project insights and results Farm4More

The European LIFE project “farm4more” (Future Agricultural Management for multiple outputs on climate and rural development; duration July 2019 to December 2024) addresses these challenges through cross-border cooperation .
