The Vice Rector of the Veterinary Medicine Vienna, Univ. Doz. Dr. Jürgen Rehage, presented the study opportunities at this university as part of his previous visit to the HBLFA More than 30 interested students from Raumberg-Gumpenstein found out about the wide range of training opportunities at Austria's only veterinary university and were able to ask their questions. There is a serious shortage of veterinarians in Austria, especially for looking after livestock, which is why a corresponding focus should be placed on this discipline. Vice Rector Rehage was also impressed by the equipment of the research area in Gumpenstein, as there are many research collaborations with the VetMedUni Vienna .
