During our teaching units, we are allowed to fish all of the club's waters - these are Zeiringer Teich, Huber Teich, Enns Trautenfels, Enns Pruggern - with the students. The two ponds have a great population of carp (up to 19kg), large pike and zander. In the two sections of the Enn there is the possibility of fly and spin fishing for large trout and grayling.
We will also try to hold units on other bodies of water in the area (Gaishorner See, Spechtensee...) in order to guarantee the students a maximum of variety.
Our first successes can be seen in the photos and we hope to be able to provide more pictures of big fish.
Aquatic ecology and fisheries
The two supervisors, DDr. Roman Schaffer and MMag. Gernot Schwab, have managed to enter into a good cooperation with the Irdning fishing club regarding the club's waters.
