The participants were able to find out more about more than 20 subject areas , which were presented in a practical way by the researchers. The variety of topics reflected the wide range of agricultural sciences and also the areas of work in applied research . The students were offered exciting insights into current research projects.

The innovative event was also by experts from the Ministry of Agriculture and the University of Agricultural Education . The concept of student days has met with great response here and will be expanded to all agricultural schools and research centers in Austria in the coming years. This step also underlines the importance of research for education and also the promotion of young talent in the field of agricultural science and research.
