    Sheep go online

It was not just the date, Friday the 13th, but the general situation in connection with Corona, which required a new way of holding the 11th sheep farming conference.

The lectures could be attended not, as usual, in the Grimming Hall of the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein, but online in front of computers, tablets and laptops. This offer was used by around 120 participants. For those who were unable to attend, the lectures and written contributions are available on the homepage.

The topics ranged from the quality of feed from the grassland, a ration that emphasizes basic feed for lamb production, various diseases, possible climate impacts from sheep farming, right through to predators and ways of locating sheep. Two practitioners also had their say. What an online conference cannot convey, however, are the very important contacts and conversations among the participants during the breaks.

    Evaluation of the conference

Your feedback is very important to us, so please fill out the questionnaire, write to us about your wishes for the next conferences and let us know if you liked something or didn't like something. We are always striving to improve.
