Climate-active building and renovation stands for energy efficiency, ecological quality, comfort and quality of execution. In order to make the quality of a building measurable and comparable, the klimaaktiv building standard was developed. It honors buildings that meet particularly high requirements. The evaluation categories are defined in the criteria catalog. Every building can be declared and valued online free of charge.

When building or renovating a building, decisions are made about energy consumption over the next few decades. The quality of construction influences the lives of residents every day and contributes significantly to their satisfaction and health. The klimaaktiv building standard helps you make the necessary decisions. Because it makes building qualities assessable and comparable.

A climate-actively built or renovated building means

    • high quality of planning and execution
    • Coziness and comfort
    • low energy consumption and therefore low heating and operating costs
    • very good indoor air quality

Organic farming means farming in closed cycles. It was therefore only obvious and logical to build in such a way that more energy could be generated than was consumed.

The new Bioinstitut building is also the first building in the region where the BIM criteria (Building Information Modeling) were used from planning to completion!
