The discussion about climate change and its far-reaching consequences accompany us every day and are present in all media. In recent years, the number of hot days with temperatures above 30°C has increased significantly. On average, there are currently 9 hot days per year in the Alpine region, and significantly more in other regions of Europe. In 2100, over 50 days with temperatures above 30°C could be the new reality in the region (ZAMG).
