    Environmental assessment concept – simply explained

    As part of the “Digitization in Agriculture” cluster, financed by the Austrian Rural Development Program 2014-2020, new technologies are being tested in practical use.

    When assessing the practical suitability of digital technologies, economic and technical criteria are usually used. The assessment of the environmental impact and environmental performance of the operation is often missing. As part of the cluster, the HBLFA is developing a concept and criteria for assessing environmental impacts when using digital technologies with the project partners UBA and AGES.
