Presentation of the brochure
"Climate Impact Research and Climate Change Adaptation Strategies"

Climate change is a fact, and it is happening. According to forecasts and climate models, the Central Alpine region in particular will be severely affected by climate change in the future. The impacts on our agriculture can now be demonstrated in a wide variety of areas. Therefore, climate impact research and the resulting insights and strategies for adapting to climate change are of vital importance for everyone, especially in this region. The responsibility of agriculture to halt climate change and its consequences must also be considered in future strategies.

This brochure , "Climate Impact Research and Climate Change Adaptation Strategies," published by HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein, provides a highly topical overview of the scientific projects we are working on. Based on 29 projects, it examines the areas of plants, animals, biodiversity, and the environment, including the water cycle. In addition to the fundamental topics, the brochure presents the latest findings and impacts of climate change. The innovations, results, and strategies are summarized in an accessible way, and concrete goals are defined.

The standard we set here reflects Raumberg-Gumpenstein's fundamental understanding: research must be able to explain what it does. In Raumberg-Gumpenstein, current and practical issues are addressed according to scientific criteria and international standards. But only when the findings have reached practical application and can be implemented has research truly explained what it does and why we need it.

The brochure can be ordered as a printed copy - orders for the brochure (€8,-/piece plus shipping costs) should be sent to Ms. Eva Rainer (This email address is protected from spambots! You must enable JavaScript to view it.) direct.
