    Accompanying manual to the FarmLife Animal Welfare Potential Assessment

    At the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein, an assessment system for the animal welfare potential of dairy stables was developed - the FarmLife Welfare Index (FWI). As an information document for practical application, a guide for assessing animal welfare indicators was created in the form of a comprehensive accompanying manual in which each individual indicator is described in detail.

    It provides a detailed explanatory text on the survey methodology and the significance of each individual parameter for the animal welfare and animal welfare potential assessment.
