Accompanying manual for the FarmLife animal welfare potential assessment

At the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein, an assessment system for the animal welfare potential of dairy barns was developed – the FarmLife Welfare Index (FWI). A comprehensive guide to assessing the animal welfare indicators, in which each individual indicator is described in detail, was created to provide information for practical application.

It provides a detailed explanatory text on the data collection methodology and the significance of each individual parameter for the assessment of animal welfare and animal welfare potential.
