    3. Successfully completed diploma course to become an instructor in hoof care

The examination for the 3rd diploma course in functional claw care to become an instructor took place on January 13th, 2024. In addition to a written test, the graduates also had to complete a practical part.

Competent instructors who, in addition to practical specialist knowledge, are also able to pass on this didactically and pedagogically, are the basic requirement for any high-quality training. That's why we are happy to welcome new, skilled hoof trimmers into the world of instructors, as hoof trimming is one of the main pillars of the quality of life and life performance of cattle.

The possibility of technically sound instructor training is very limited in Europe. Since 2020, the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein, together with European Hoofcare, has been offering the first diploma course to become an instructor in functional hoof care in the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) at Matura level. This is unique at this high level of education.
