Content of the project
In the project, they conduct research together with scientists from the region. They look at various native and non-native plants and their appearance throughout the year. The origin, distribution and impact on the environment are also examined.
The young researchers discover, observe and document the growth behavior of selected plants throughout the year in a playful way. Joint activities are carried out with the project partners and the children and young people learn about interesting careers.
In addition to the Steirische Eisenwurzen Nature and Geopark, the RML regional management of the Liezen district, the Styrian Mountain and Nature Rescue Service, the Central Institute for Meteorology and Geodynamics and we, the Higher Federal Teaching and Research Institute for Agriculture Raumberg-Gumpenstein, are also involved.
