As in the previous year, the 2021 school leaving certificate and diploma examination was significantly affected by the corona pandemic. Nevertheless, it ended successfully for 88 candidates, including 30 girls and 58 boys from three classes. Of them, 19 graduated with excellent results and 26 with good results. By the way, the 5U class was really happy about their “white flag”.
As in the previous year, the chairman of this summer event in 2021 was our Direktor Dr. Anton Hausleitner. He expressed himself very satisfied with the organization in difficult times and, above all, with the results that were achieved.
The year chairmen were Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Rudolf FRITZ (5L Agricultural Management), Prof. Mag. Johann es Gösweiner (5U Environmental and Resource Management) and Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Peter Schweiger (advanced course 3ALG) is responsible for the school's preparation for these days of the Central Matura in German and Mathematics, which are eagerly awaited throughout Austria. The written exams took place in May, the few voluntary oral exams took place on June 21, 2021.
On June 22nd, after the graduation photos and an ecumenical service celebrated by Dr. Michael Unger and OStR Wolfgang Carlsson and musically accompanied by brass music and singing, the ceremonial presentation of the school leaving certificates by Direktor Dr. Anton Hausleitner and the new department heads Dipl.-Ing. Othmar Breitenbaumer and Dr. Herwig Pieslinger. Federal Alumni Association Chairman Christian Obenaus pinned the coveted graduate association badge on the chests of all young graduates in the presence of their proud parents.
As in previous years, the best diploma thesis was awarded by a jury: Martin Artner and Daniel Holzer first prize for their work on monitoring dairy cows using a rumen sensor, supervised by Ing. Irene Mösenbacher-Molterer
After the high school graduates thanked their parents and, above all, their year leaders, who were dear to them, chef Christina Mayr served goulash and apple strudel in the gallery in front of the gym in fantastic weather.
The Direktion would like to thank the parents, the high school graduates and the employees from all areas for their contribution to this celebratory farewell.
