End of school for the 3rd grade in 2024

Between the 3rd and 4th grades, the students at HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein complete a 14-week internship, the “Big Practice” . In order to still give the students time for vacation, this school year ends a month earlier and the start of school in the fall has been pushed back by six weeks.

Some students take the opportunity to complete their internship abroad . There are currently 39 students from our school participating in the Erasmus+ program. The others complete their “major internship” in Germany or Austria. Prof. Franz Hanus is responsible for organizing the practice and you have access to a database with more than 1,000 practices from their predecessors and their experiences as a basis.

The 31 students from 3L (Agriculture - class leader Prof. Johannes Gösweiner) and 3 UR (environmental and resource management - 32 students, class leader Prof. Mattheus Kaltenegger) were taken to the “large practice” on Friday, June 7th, 2024 “passed.

The end-of-school service took place in the Donnersbach parish church and was organized by Prof. Ingrid Peyrer and AV Herwig Pieslinger. Christina Schneeberger and Marvin Schwab provided the musical accompaniment. The certificates were then distributed for the first time in the Donnersbach castle courtyard.

The farewell was marked by tears and a cheerful concert of horns. We wish the students an exciting and eventful practice and look forward to welcoming them back in the fall.

Speaking of which - where are we going anyway: Funded through the Erasmus+ program, 11 Raumbergers are traveling to Norway, 8 to Ireland, 7 to Germany, 5 to Iceland and 2 each to Denmark, the Netherlands, Sweden and Russia. The rest are in Germany and Austria - at least 30 km from home.
