Last Thursday the 1L class experienced their first research module. The students visited the nature conservation areas in Trautenfels and learned about the biodiversity of the meadows. The relationships between nutrient content and the resulting species composition were also part of the module.
In addition, the unique opportunity to integrate our research institute into everyday lessons is often used. For example, today as part of their English seminar, 4b and 4a visited the chicken coop, where a new experiment on poultry farming with soldier fly larvae started a week ago. The students were given an insight into the experimental setup and the experimental goals. The newly gained information is then followed up in English during the lesson.
