Honor for Dr. Gérard Gaillard in the run-up to the 14th life cycle assessment platform for agriculture, Agroscope

On October 22nd d. The 14th agricultural life cycle assessment platform of the Swiss research institution Agroscope took place in Zurich-Reckenholz. In the run-up to the event, the head of the life cycle assessment research group at Agroscope, Dr. Gérard Gaillard, due to his upcoming retirement, was honored by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Regions and Water Management, Vienna, as a long-time companion and supporter of research projects on the subject of life cycle assessment in Austrian agriculture.

Dr. It is thanks to Gaillard's contribution that research on the topic of eco-efficiency in Austria has achieved its current importance. His expertise and commitment have made a significant contribution to gaining important scientific knowledge and further advancing sustainability in Austrian agriculture. Numerous innovative projects of the eco-efficiency research group at the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein were implemented with the help of his collegial support and expertise, thus making a significant contribution to sustainable development in agricultural practice.

The BML spoke to Dr. Gaillard therefore expressed the thanks and recognition of the Republic of Austria for his achievements in the development of the Austrian agricultural research landscape by means of a certificate.

Openness and trust have sustained this successful collaboration over many years. Therefore, we from the Eco-Efficiency Research Group at the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein would like to say “THANK YOU” again at this point and wish Dr. All the best to Gaillard for his transition into so-called “unrest” and his future!

We are pleased to be able to continue to count on our collaboration with Agroscope's life cycle assessment research group and to provide important impetus for a sustainable future in agriculture.
