    International recommendations for cattle farming have been developed

    The international CIGR Cattle Housing Working Group, made up of housing experts from 10 European countries and North America, has published a new report on cattle housing.

    Dr. Elfriede Ofner-Schröck (Department of Animal Husbandry and Stable Technology) worked as the Austrian representative on the creation of this report. In numerous workshops, which also took place at the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein, scientific findings and practical experiences from different countries were combined.
