The competitive grasses are usually sown over a large area with very low seed rates, while species with weak competition are either sown in rows or brought forward in a polytunnel and planted out individually by hand. This ensures that every plant has enough space and can develop optimally. The propagation areas not only produce the desired seeds, but the colorful flowering areas provide important food for insects and are also a real feast for the eyes for our employees and visitors.
