Phosphorus and sulfur fertilization for grain legumes - more than just counting peas

Grain legumes are of great importance for the soil both as high-quality feed and as the backbone of crop rotation in organic farming. The supply of phosphorus and sulfur is important both for its function as a nitrogen collector and for the yield and quality development of the fruit. The effects of fertilization on these parameters and a possible solution to legume fatigue are questions in a new experiment at the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein.
