Participation in the BTU conference in Freising

The conference “ Construction, technology and environment in agricultural animal husbandry” (BTU) is considered a regular industry meeting for agricultural research in the field of livestock husbandry. Every two years, the KTBL, the Max Eyth Society for Agricultural Engineering in the Association of German Engineers (VDI-MEG) and the European Society of Agricultural Engineers (EurAgE) invite you to this conference.

 (C) Raumberg-Gumpenstein

An agricultural technical facility will also act as organizer and host. Michael Kropsch from the Animal, Technology and Environment Institute represented the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein with two presentations on a new concept for fattening pig farming (Project SaLu_T) and the determination of odor emissions on poultry and pig farms to derive emission factors (Project OdourS). , also Irene Mösenbacher-Molterer with a poster contribution on tube ventilation in calf and young cattle stables (OptiAirTubes project) .

Extensive discussions about the results achieved and scientific exchange with planned project collaborations were the result of this high-level scientific event.

Here you can get an overview of the BTU conference 2024 .
