    New director of the institute “Animal, Technology and Environment” at the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein

    On June 7, 2023, Dr. Birgit Heidinger was appointed head of the “Animal, Technology and Environment” Institute at the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein by Federal Minister Totschnig.

    The institute's main areas of work include questions about species-appropriate animal husbandry, animal protection, the assessment of stable structures, stable facilities and husbandry systems as well as emissions and immissions and socio-economic, business and labor issues in agriculture.

    Ms. Dr. Heidinger has been working successfully at the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein since 2012 and brings a lot of personal and scientific experience to the management of the research institute at the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein.
