The HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein was MINT quality seal 2024-2027 Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research in collaboration with the Industrial Association, the Vienna University of Education and the Knowledge Factory Companies for Austria .
The ceremonial presentation of the certificate and the quality seal plaque took place at Graz University of Technology.
MINT stands for promoting innovative, exciting learning in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology with a variety of approaches. The aim is to create an attitude towards life for curiosity, joy and creativity, to develop a positive attitude and to help shape future solutions with passion and enthusiasm. A well-founded MINT education is a great opportunity for young people to benefit professionally and personally.
By networking research and teaching under one roof, the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein offers the best conditions for its students to delve deeper into the MINT area and to actively participate in solutions to major challenges such as climate change, ensuring the circular economy and digitalization .
The research acquisition department with Renate Mayer, Lynn Thiermeyer and Alina Jenšac, together with Herwig Pieslinger, head of the environmental and resource management school branch from the Raumberg-Gumpenstein school, prepared the extensive online submission and were able to receive the valuable award on behalf of the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein Graz from the hand of education direktor Elisabeth Meixner and IV President Kurt Maier.
