Review of the 1st TTU Conference (Animal-Technology-Environment)

An exciting new conference format will now summarize the topics of the previous Raumberg-Gumpensteiner construction conference and the emissions conference once a year. This first conference for animals - technology - environment (TTU conference) took place on 14/15. May 2024 at the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein.

More than 100 participants from all federal states as well as Germany and Switzerland were able to find out more about the topics of sustainable stable construction with wood, emissions in the context of construction work, mechanization and feeding as well as legal backgrounds in a wide-ranging program. The program was rounded off with current topics regarding business opportunities, changes in the CAP and AI-supported systems for monitoring animal health in pigs and poultry. Another article provided information about the positive effects of livestock farming on the prevention of allergies.

It was particularly important to the organizing team to promote professional exchange during the conference - this meant that many conversations that had begun during the day could be continued at a cozy evening event.

We are already looking forward to welcoming you back next year in May for a sequel!
