Professional hoof care makes a significant contribution to animal health and welfare. The basis for working as a hoof trimmer is sound training.
At the HBLFA certificate course in hoof care basic course took place again this semester in collaboration with the LFI Steiermark and under the technical course leadership of Robert Pesenhofer (European hoofcare) . On behalf of the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein, Johann Häusler, Dr. Leopold Podstatzky-Lichtenstein and Dr. Elfriede Ofner-Schröck took part in this course. The final examination was successfully completed on December 14, 2023.
