    Emissions from animal husbandry

The project idea developed from the large number of reactions from those affected and those involved to the “Practical Guide to Sound Technology in Agriculture” published in spring 2013.

Although the guideline provides the basis for detailed acoustic assessments of agricultural farms for the first time, there are currently no guidelines for spatial planning concepts in the early phases of agricultural building planning. The aim of the current project is to publish a supplementary guideline - “Sound emissions from types of agricultural operations and land use”; In the future, it will be possible to make statements in the early (planning) phases of agricultural construction projects as to the extent to which the expected acoustic emissions from operations are compatible with the land use. (Viewing the building plot and the surrounding properties). Currently, such planning assistance is only available for commercial businesses.
