German

"Of all the worlds that man has created, that of books is the most vast."
- Heinrich Heine –

In this sense, we in Raumberg-Gumpenstein maintain the conviction that engaging with art and culture is enriching for people. So we act with passion and in the certainty that the worlds that do not bring immediate monetary gain are almost indispensable for us as humans and are increasingly finding less space in everyday life.

Nevertheless, German is a compulsory subject that is taught for five years (or three in the advanced course) and ends with a written (centralized) Matura examination.
In the first few years, the students primarily repeat basic knowledge of spelling and grammar, but text type training also begins at the same time. Communication and presentation techniques and working with the PC are also part of the curriculum - naturally, the ability to present yourself convincingly is a key qualification that is beneficial in many areas of life. The wide world of literature accompanies us throughout our school years.

There are also visits to the theater and cinema, readings at school and workshops with experts.
