The advanced course in agriculture ends after 3 years with the school leaving certificate and diploma examination.

For graduates of an agricultural and forestry technical school, Raumberg-Gumpenstein offers the perfect opportunity to take the school leaving certificate and diploma examination Building on the good training at the technical schools (especially intensive practical training), the best agricultural knowledge is imparted in Raumberg-Gumpenstein, whereby the latest results from research in Gumpenstein are also incorporated. Our graduates are therefore ideally equipped to work professionally in agriculture, forestry and all other economic sectors. They also have very good conditions to be able to pursue further studies at colleges and universities.

Outside of school, the students complete 4 weeks of practical work on agricultural and forestry farms. Many people take advantage of the opportunity to complete this practice abroad (that is, throughout Europe) and thereby get to know other countries and improve their language skills (English, Italian).

In addition to agricultural training, our students are also optimally prepared for life in the areas of business administration and accounting, natural sciences and general education.

In the advanced course, the compulsory subject of agricultural marketing, taught. Agricultural marketing deepens the economic training in the direction of marketing. In addition to the production of high-quality food, the sale of food is also a crucial aspect for an agricultural and forestry business. In this subject, students learn how to develop products and services, how pricing is done and how to communicate with customers in order to be successful in the market. Furthermore, a marketing concept for a company is created as part of the lesson.
