“Together with other young people from the district, we had the opportunity to participate in the first meeting of the youth team on Monday. The goal is to incorporate our concerns into the 2020 guiding principles. We naturally hope that our suggestions will be implemented in our region in the future. Currently, we are still busy gathering ideas; typical topics include transportation, culture, and infrastructure in rural areas. We are looking forward to the next meetings.”

This youth participation process aims to specifically highlight the perspectives of young people and incorporate their concerns into the new guiding principles. The goal of this first workshop was to define categories of regional development that will be addressed in subsequent meetings.
