Although many only learned chess a few months ago, they all managed to win several matches. Of course, the previous training sessions with Werner Michor only covered the most essential details of competition, but these initial successes are encouraging. In the team competition on Thursday, four players from Raumberg formed each team, and Jakob Hernach, Alexander Lubensky (1U), and Fabian Perchtold (2ALG) joined the five participants from the previous day! The second day of the tournament also saw numerous successes, but naturally, some lessons had to be learned due to a lack of experience. The positive atmosphere and the continued enthusiasm for chess give hope for the future, and perhaps chess will once again be offered as an elective course where students can work diligently on their chess skills and the enjoyment of the sport!
