The entire class worked on various topics in six subgroups that dealt with making the school and research more climate-friendly.
The class was divided into different groups:
- current measurements,
- Mobility,
- monitoring,
- heat measurements,
- renewable energy and
- PV systems.
After we had collected and processed all the data, we were able to work together with our project partner Dipl.-Ing. Dipl.-Ped. Karl Heinz Pertl (employee of the company “Siemens”) presented the project results in the HBLFA Schönnbrunn to the representatives of the ministry, Ministerial Councilor Ingrid Wohlfahrt, Ing. Franz Kesner and department head Mag. Christian Kasper.
After a successful presentation, we were also introduced to the botany in Schönnbrunn through a guided tour of the federal gardens. We were able to get an idea of the exotic collection of tropical and subtropical plants.
Finally, we would like to thank our project partner Dipl.-Ing. Dipl.-Ped. Karl Heinz Pertl and our project teachers MMag. Gernot Schwab and Msc. Lena Sonnleitner for the support.
