    Making natural soaps from olive oil in chemistry laboratory class

     
    The students of the 2U year made soaps using the “cold stirring process” in the laboratory class.
    Soaps are made from vegetable or animal fats. 
    Saponification with caustic soda produces core soap, while saponification with caustic soda produces soft soap.
