    Making animal welfare visible – in the national final “Youth Innovative”

    Jugend Innovativ has been one of Austria's most important school competitions for innovative ideas for 35 years.

    With their pre-scientific diploma thesis “Practicability of the FarmLife Welfare Index for dairy farming” Anna Oberauer and Julia Staple under the supervision of Dr. Elfriede Ofner-Schröck qualified for the national final of the “Youth Innovative” competition with the project title “Making Animal Welfare Visible”.

    In total, 35 projects out of 265 made it to the national final.

    Our project “Making Animal Welfare Visible” qualified as one of five in the “Science” category.

    The federal final will take place from May 31st. will take place in Vienna until June 2, 2022.
