At our first stop in San Daniele del Friuli, we were introduced to the ham factory where the famous Prosciutto di San Daniele has been produced since the Middle Ages. After a delicious tasting, we continued on to Venice. There, we enjoyed a guided city tour, and our friendly guide showed us the most beautiful corners of Venice. We spent a very relaxing end to the first day together, and the next morning, we all set off with renewed energy towards Isola della Scala. In the so-called "City of Rice," we visited a rice farm, which was a fitting tribute. After another tasting, our journey continued to Cremona, where a guided tour of a cattle ranch awaited us. The second day also ended with many new impressions. On day three, we had free time in Monaco. The changing of the guard and the large harbor were definitely among the highlights of this beautiful principality.
A few souvenirs were purchased before the announcement came again: "Boarding completed; cabin crew, get ready for take-off." Next stop: Nice. In the next fairytale city, Nice, we had another guided city tour. A cocktail on the beach in Nice was a must, and that same day the bus took us to Aix-en-Provence, where we spent the night. On Wednesday, our day began with a visit to an olive oil producer. The oils we tasted delighted many, and some of the students' parents can look forward to enjoying delicious French olive oil with their next salad. The girls in our class were especially thrilled when we were shown horse and bull breeding on a tractor trailer in the Camargue.
We spent Wednesday night in Montpellier, and in the evening the tram took us to the city center, where we, as a class, mingled with the crowds. The next day started sleepily, and then we headed off to Carcassonne! There, we strolled through the narrow streets for a while and admired the beautiful castle. In the afternoon, we visited a dairy farm. We were particularly impressed by the friendly farmer who gave us a tour of her farm. The homemade dairy products, such as yogurt, cheese, and cream cheese, tasted delicious. A little snack was welcome, because the absolute highlight of our trip was now upon us: Lloret de Mar. We spent a total of two nights in this charming town.
We spent Friday enjoying a leisurely city tour of Barcelona, strolling along the famous Ramblas, and swimming in the pleasantly warm sea. We all enjoyed our last night together in Lloret de Mar before embarking on our 20-hour journey home on Saturday after breakfast.

A big thank you also goes to the Eibisberger bus company and their excellent drivers, Franz and Manolo. Of course, without our tour guide Viola, we wouldn't all have made it home together; instead, we would have been scattered across Italy, Monaco, France, and Spain.
