Third-year students worked diligently on the FarmBot project last school year and are now looking forward to the first radishes straight from the Europahalle.
The FarmBot is a three-axis controlled robot that automatically plants and maintains plants in a raised bed .
With interchangeable tools for precise sowing, watering, measuring tools and purely mechanical weed control, precisely coordinated care of each plant and thus optimal growth is possible. A camera carried overlooks the 3x6 meter raised bed and enables a precise assessment of the growth of the plants. The FarmBot can be controlled around the clock via a web app that can be operated from a PC or cell phone.
We subsequently want to use our FarmBot to examine seeds and plant growth under various conditions.
