Implementation and coordination of research projects in the areas of organic breeding, husbandry and questions regarding alternative therapies (e.g. phytotherapy).
Collaboration with national and international breeding organizations with the aim of establishing our own breeding programs for organic animals.

• Further development of the existing knowledge on keeping sows in free farrowing systems
• Carrying out practical research projects in the areas of pen design, stable climate, working time requirements and economics
• Establishment of concepts for maintaining the health of agricultural animals using plant-based active ingredients
• Carrying out feeding trials with the aim of ensuring animal health and product quality under the conditions of EU Organic Regulation 834/2007
• Collaboration with breeding organizations to establish our own breeding programs for organic animals
